Key Features

2.1 GHz / 3.2 GHz RF Coverage

Model-dependent frequency coverage from 9 kHz up to 2.1 GHz or 3.2 GHz supports common RF receiver testing, LO injection, amplifier gain checks, RF education labs and production functional test.

AM / FM / PM / Pulse Modulation

Standard analog modulation modes support internal, external and combined source operation for receiver selectivity tests, modulation response checks and RF circuit validation.

IQE Variants for External IQ

SSG3000X-IQE models can generate IQ-modulated signals when used with a compatible external baseband source such as SIGLENT SDG6000X. Do not position the standard non-IQE models as vector generators.

Low Phase Noise Carrier

Typical phase noise of −110 dBc/Hz at 1 GHz and 20 kHz offset provides a clean CW or modulated RF source for receiver sensitivity, synthesizer and mixer measurements.

Pulse Train and USB Power Sensor Workflow

Optional pulse-train generation and USB power-meter correction workflows support pulsed RF tests, output-level verification and automated level-control use cases.

Touch UI and Remote Control

5-inch capacitive touch screen, USB Host, USB Device, LAN remote control and optional GPIB integration make the series suitable for bench and automated test setups.

Applications

Receiver Sensitivity and Selectivity

Calibrated RF output and modulation modes support receiver sensitivity, selectivity, blocking and demodulation checks in lab and production setups.

Amplifier Gain and Compression

CW and swept RF stimulus can be used for amplifier gain, gain flatness, compression and basic RF module characterisation.

Mixer and LO Injection

Low-phase-noise RF source for mixer conversion-loss tests, local oscillator injection and synthesizer chain verification.

RF Teaching Labs

Suitable for RF fundamentals, modulation demonstrations, spectrum-analyzer exercises and receiver-chain teaching labs.

RF Module Functional QC

SCPI and LAN/USB control allow repeatable RF stimulus generation for automated module production and incoming inspection.

External-IQ Modulated Signal Tests

IQE variants, combined with a compatible baseband generator, support external-IQ experiments such as two-tone and modulated-signal receiver checks.
